Last Wednesday, August 21st we held a press conference on the HMW Admin Grounds, located at 4400 W 18th Street in Houston.
Special interests are attacking the elected HISD school board and they are working to undermine the peoples voices in HISD This unprecedented plan has one goal; to make it harder for educators, supporting staff, parents and community leaders to come together and support our neighborhood public schools. We deserve an elected school board we can hold accountable – not an unelected, unaccountable token school board.
